How to use Learn
Short, calm games for numbers, letters, colors, shapes, feelings and early math.
Learn has short games for numbers, letters, colors, shapes, feelings, adding and subtracting. Each game takes a few minutes and works with taps alone.
How a game works
A game asks a simple question, such as "Find the red one" or "How many stars?", and shows a few picture choices. Your child taps an answer.
- A right answer gets a calm, happy cheer, and the game moves on.
- A wrong tap just fades that choice, and your child tries again. There's no buzzer, no red X and nothing lost.
- After two tries, the right answer gently glows, so your child always finishes with success.
Your child never sees a score. Games end with a friendly finish, not a grade.
Seeing progress
Scores and the skill map are for you, not your child. They show up only in the parent portal, and only after you turn on progress tracking under Privacy and consent. Progress is saved on this tablet; nothing is sent to us.
Once tracking is on, the parent portal shows:
- The skill map: each skill marked not started, practicing, getting it or mastered.
- The Learning center: each game your child played, with the score, hints used and time spent.
- Reports: a printable summary you can bring to a teacher or therapist.
Tips
- Short and often. A few minutes a day works better than one long session.
- Play together at first. Sit beside your child for the first few games, so they learn how to answer.
- Stop while it's fun. End before your child is tired, so they look forward to the next time.
- Match the level. If a game seems hard, pick an easier one in the same area and come back later.
- Talk about it away from the tablet. Count stairs, name colors at the store and spot letters on signs.
Sound
Questions are read out loud only after a tap. You can change the voice, or turn sound off, in the parent portal.
