1. The short version
- One essential cookie, and only on parent pages that have a form or sign-in.
- No cookies at all on pages used by children.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, pixels, or scripts, and no third-party fonts or scripts, on any page.
- The free tools keep their data in your browser's local storage on your device, not in cookies, and never send it to us.
2. The one cookie we use

This cookie is essential: those pages can't work safely without it. It is not used to track you, and it is never shared with anyone.
3. No consent banner
We don't show a cookie-consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: we use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we ever change that, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy first and, for any page used by children, obtain any consent the law requires before the change.
4. On-device storage for the free tools
The free tools (the talk board, schedules, timers, stories, routines and learning activities) save your child's choices, your settings, your child's nickname, picture choice and age band, and progress if you turn progress tracking on, in your browser's local storage. That storage lives only on your device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to our servers, and we cannot see it.
- Keep a copy: download a backup file from the parent portal.
- Delete it: use the delete option in the parent portal, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
- Be aware: clearing your browser's data, using a private browsing window, or changing devices can erase it, and we cannot recover it for you.
